Browning Courthouse
Historical Renovation
The historic United States Court of Appeals building in San Francisco is one of the few structures that withstood the 1906 earthquake, though it was heavily damaged in the Loma Prieta earthquake in 1989. After the U.S. Congress voted to save the building from demolition, plans for renovation began. In 2011, RMA initiated an extensive renovation project, covering 81,600 sq. ft. on two floors and involving a variety of construction trades. RMA completed the project two weeks ahead of schedule.
